Upcoming Holidays

     Two days ago, like you know, it was Valentines Day. People don't celebrate Valentines Day here very much. Instead, they have about five days of holidays all back to back! Next Saturday, Sunday, and Monday are Cream Puff days. The cream puff here are HUGE - about six times the size of the box cream puffs. Monday is the real Cream Puff Day, and you get to wake up and hit your parents with a stick while their still in bed! For every time you hit your mom or dad, you receive a cream puff! My mom and dad told us that a couple of hits is enough, though. Tuesday is called Stuffing Day because everyone eats a lot of this bean soup. It's sort of like fat Tuesday. Wednesday is Halloween! At school, there will be a Halloween costume contest for the sixth and seventh graders while the first thru fifth graders go trick of treating. Oh, for trick of treating, you have to sing a song instead of saying trick or treat.

I can't wait for all the holidays coming up!
